“The Best Service and a Must Visit”
Wow! What a wonderful experience! The location is very easy to find, no wait time if you go a bit later, staff were wonderful, and food was beyond amazing. The atmosphere was very classy and there was a beautiful outdoor area. This has to be one of the best places we visited in Kyoto. Highly recomme...nd!!

“Bittersweet Experience in a Beautiful Setting”
We visited Fortune Garden Kyoto with family and friends and were immediately struck by how beautiful the place looked—the ambiance is truly lovely, and the live music added a special charm to the evening. While most of the food was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. Things moved slowly..., and there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness that took away from the overall experience. One of our main dishes didn’t quite meet expectations, and unfortunately, the response we received from the staff was far from the courteous service we've come to associate with Japan. It felt as though the staff was in a hurry to wind down for the night, which was disappointing, especially after such a beautiful introduction. Overall, it was a mixed experience—great atmosphere but not matched by the level of hospitality or consistency in food. With a little more care and attention, this place could really shine.

“Do not go ! It’s a trap. Good ambiance, extremely poor service and very patchy food.”
Food came in separate batches and not together. For the prices it’s certainly not a fine dine experience. They had a jazz band and the beef both were was good. Fish undercooked and different plates had completely different portions - my son got a finger size portion and finally ate a Bolognese at 7.../11. They refused to acknowledge / apologize for anything. Also they will push you for a 8 pm reservation and last order will be 9pm. I would say - there are a 1000 places in Kyoto that you can go to. My vote - DONT GO. Ash ツ

“1920's vibe”
A wonderful oasis in a busy tourist spot. Catering for a gluten free customer and providing Omi steak, which melts in the mouth. Superb drinks too. This restaurant, with an open kitchen, offered a perfect romantic evening, with great service and smooth ambiance.

“Superb food and service.”
Exquisite food and immaculate service. Loved everything about this restaurant from the cherry blossom ceiling courtyard to the great food and service. We enjoyed the Italian wines as an excellent foil for the delicate, beautifully presented food. On the way out, check out the koi pond.
