“Easily one of the best meals and experiences of my life”
My first Kaiseki, and my first fugu! Thank you to Chef Yuuki Tanaka and the entire staff at Ise Sueyoshi for making my last night in Tokyo memorable! It was incredible to taste these amazing ingredients, so masterfully prepared, and to hear the stories of all the people in Chef Takaka’s hometown w...ho made it all possible. A must-visit if you’re ever in Tokyo!

“One of the best meals I have ever eaten!”
This is a tiny restaurant with a great atmosphere. I think there were only two eating areas. We ate at the counter as a party of four and I think there was a larger table in a separate room. The service was perfect. The staff explained each course and ingredient. The whole meal told a story and didn...’t feel fake. We had the opportunity to try a lot of unique Japanese ingredients.The chef clearly takes pride in their food and the whole experience. It is a pricey meal, but I felt it was worth it, especially compared to some other high-end meals I’ve had where the service was not great and the food was mediocre. Here everything was five star. They were also able to accommodate my gluten allergy and my meal was just as spectacular as my family’s who had the regular items. Go - you won’t be disappointed.

“A Masterpiece of Japanese Cuisine”
We absolutely loved every moment at Ise Sueyoshi. Every Kaiseki course reflected exceptional craftsmanship and authenticity, with a thoughtfully curated menu showcasing seasonal ingredients sourced directly from sustainable farmers and fishermen in the Ise Prefecture. The chef's passion for honoring... the producers shines through in every beautifully presented dish and the stories that accompany it. This was far more than dinner. It was an unforgettable culinary journey and one of the finest dining experiences we have had.

Was an absolute privilege. Food service and the explanation on each meal superb. My wife is Vegan and they went the extra yard to make her experience equally amazing 👏 the Sake pairing also absolutely spot on. Brilliant all round 👏
