“Nice Ebi set meal”
I am not sure if this is the right address. The one I visited was inside JR Station at Nagoya. It was nearly 12nn then and most of the restaurants had long queues. This restaurant had a shorter queue and my family had to be separated in order to get our meals quicker. We mostly ordered the set meal ...of two long ebi tempuras. Reasonable price and the food was good. Can't really enjoy the ambience much as I was rushing to catch my train to Tokyo.

“work dinner”
a very nice option for japanese dinner. they did not speak very much english but just enough to have a gr8 time. take your time as they do not rush......and so shouldn't you. very recommended.

“Ebi was great!!”
Ebi was great but the menu lacks variety and would be nice if they have an english menu... order the 1460yen set as the ebi is huge....

“Great restaurant to try ebi fry (deep fried shrimp)!”
Maruha Shokudo is one is several restaurants at Lachic (extension of Mitsubishi Department Store). Great introduction to panko-dipped, deep-fried shrimp with special Nagoya sauce (a sweet sauce similar to tonkatsu sauce albeit a bit thinner). Service is great and lots of room for larger groups. The...y even have a Japanese style section of the restaurant where you can sit on the floor. Views from the restaurant of the park and Nagoya tower. Sets are about 2000 yen. Closes after lunch and opens again for dinner.
