“Good Osaka style”
The okonomyaki from Osaka include noodles, so it s your taste or not. You have a long choice with or without. They don t cook on your table and some Japanese really need and some not. In summer I prefer cook somewhere else. The taste was really good.

“Tastes good but not much volume ”
I found this place while I was walking towards Shibuya station with my coworker after a meeting with our client. I had never heard of this place but it looked good outside so we decided to give it a try. Inside was dimly lit and it had a quiet ambiance. I ordered something that is a mix of yakisoba... and fried rice with beef(it was supposed to be beef offal but they ran of it) It was really good. A little bit greasy but I really liked the tasted of it. Only downside is that it is a little too small and I didn’t get full. If you eat a lot, I would recommend to get something else or ask for an extra rice.

“Good, but lacking authenticity ”
I was recommend this place by my hotel. Overall, decore, service and quality of food were spot on. The only thing that would have made it better, from my personal perspective, would have been a choice of authentic Kansai style Okonomiyaki and more traditional surroundings. Draft Asahii was also serv...ed in a metal cup. There is nothing wrong with the quality and service was helpful and friendly. Value was good.

“Missing the "street food" feel”
The Shibuya Botejyu has moved to a new location since I last visited, but does not appear to have increased its seating capacity and reservations are now a must for assured seating. Although the new location is clean and quite busy, the upscale tone detracts a bit from the Okonomiyaki experience of... old: I miss the cozy counter seating of the old place, watching the chefs prepare my meal. The staff are quite helpful, especially the email service that assisted me with the reservation process well in advance of my visit. I appreciate the birthday wishes and personal touches very much! The prices are a bit high for food of this type, though, and Sōya in Narita has taken Botejyu's place as my favorite Okonomiyaki stop as it feels ten times more authentic than this blander, more homogenized version of my favorite food. My formerly classic ebi okonomiyaki has been replaced by a version with egg tartar sauce in lieu of mayonnaise, for example - and what's an okonomyaki without ropes of mayonnaise? Overall, I'm afraid this place has grown too classy for its own good. :(

“Vers nice okonomiyaki”
We get in Botejyu restaurant twice. The main courses are very good and are serverd rather fast. There is a large choice of okonomiyaki (porc, shrimp, etc) and the food is fresh. The prices are intermediate for this type of food. Definitely a good address in Shibuya.
