Great food, excellent service and fun athmosphere for a dinner. Lot of noise and smoking was allowed so bare that in mind before making reservations which is a must.

We ate here twice, we returned the second time as we thouroughly enjoyed our first visit. Not just because of the excellent food but also because of the attentive service. We sat at the hot plate both times and watched our food being prepared so no surprises, can't ask for more than that. There are... many choices and I especially enjoyed the Wagyu beef as well as their King Oyster mushrooms. Price wise it is very good, under $100 aud for food and drinks for two is in my opinion a good deal! It is a very inconspicuous place to eat so don't be put off by that, it is downstairs and almost feels like a speak easy. Re location, we stayed at the Hotel Groove Shinjuku, a 5 min walk away max which is also close to the Shinjuku station. I would suggest you book ahead as it seems very popular, hope you enloy it as much as we did.

This restaurant was some of the best food we have had in Tokyo. We had vegetarian and sat at the teppanyaki grill and had a beer while watching the cooks at work. Would definitely recommend!! 😃
